Requiretment for Obtaining Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Trible (ST) Certificate

  • A duly filled and attested application form.
  • A document providing identity (ID) proof of the applicant which includes PAN Card, Passport, Voter I Card. An Aadhar Card is not compulsory, but if applicant is providing the Aadhar Card, then the name provided in the application should match the name provided in his/her Aadhar Card.
  • If not minor, then a self-declaration in the prescribed format.
  • The photograph of the applicant is required to be matched with his/her photograph on the Aadhar Card. The photograph of the applicant will be captured through a web camera during application submission or verification.
  • A copy of other SC/ST certificate of applicant’s sister, brother, father, grandfather, or any paternal blood relative.
  • Self-declaration, in case the SC/ST certificate has been issued outside Delhi in prescribed performa rate. For children below 18 years, the self-declaration will be done from the major.
  • No Affidavit is required to be provided by the applicants who affixed the copy of their father side SC Certificate issued from Delhi.
  • In case, no SC/ST certificate has been issued to applicant’s family, then two government officials rate required to certify that is applicant is known to them and belong to specific community (name of the caste) which is SC/ST, along with the attested copies of their ID cards.
  • A local enquiry will be conducted at the prior place of residence as well as current residence after marriage, In case of married women.
  • Documents specifying the current residential proof of the applicant (voter card, passport, electricity bill, water bill, etc.)
  • Proof of the Date of Birth (birth certificate, school certificate, passport etc.)
